A popular 2012 book by Susan Cain presented the plight of introverts in an extrovert dominated society. In the U.S., around 1/3 of individuals are considered introverts, but in the technology field it's closer to 2/3. Many Agile practices are not only geared toward extroverts, but they can be frustrating and annoying to introverts. This session presents guidance to leaders on how to capitalize on the value that Agile practices offer without interfering with the motivators and other often conflicting needs of introverts and extroverts.
