Scaling agile software development without losing agility is difficult. Ensuring frequent releases when dozens of teams and multiple sub-systems are involved is one of the hardest pieces of the puzzle. An appropriate production architecture coupled with a few key technical practices will ensure the challenge of frequent releases remains tractable.
