Modern Risk Management Using Kanban

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Effective risk management is and will always be a fundamental aspect of effectively-run IT operations and software development. Among the array of Lean/Agile methods, practices and opinions, a pragmatic approach to managing IT operations and software development is one that seeks to balance demand against capability, create an improvement culture and enable sustainability for knowledge workers and leaders. To realize tangible benefits, we must develop a stable and measurable capability to solve problems (operations, development, research) and we must continually hedge against the many technical and business risks that accompany a 21st Century economy.  The talk will illustrate how we can use Kanban to directly manage risk and create a more reliable business outcome.
